INGREDIENTS
-
4 tomatoes (red and juicy), chopped or grated

1 capsicum, chopped (optional)
-
1 onion, chopped (optional)
-
2 flakes garlic (optional)
-
Salt and pepper to taste

2 tsp. sugar add stevia if you are a weight watcher
-
1 tsp. roasted cumin powder
-
½ tsp. black salt
-
½ cup makhanas (lotus seeds)1 spoon butter or oil
METHOD
-
Add 2 cups of water in washed & chopped tomatoes, capsicum, onion and garlic.

Boil till very soft, blend in mixer and sieve it.

Heat ½ of the butter / oil in a pan and add blended stock
to it, add all seasoning / spices also. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Add roasted makhanas in the soup.

Bring to a boil.

Garnish with some black pepper & green coriander leaves

Serve hot & enjoy !
SUGGESTIONS
-
If you are a weight watcher then use stevia natural sweetner instead of sugar.

If you are a weight watcher then prefer white & spring onion instead of red one.

You also may add ginger to enhance flavor & taste.
-
You may or may not seive tomatoes & vegetables according to your hunger & taste, but fiber is good for proper intestinal movement.
